At Delta Medical, we strive to make the order submission and processing process as streamlined and efficient as possible for healthcare providers and patients alike. Orders can be submitted via online form, fax, email, or through Parachute.
Upon receiving an order, it is sent to our dedicated Verification and Compliance Team for review. Our experienced staff will carefully check that all required documentation has been received and ensure it meets insurance standards. This includes verifying patient benefits, network status, and determining if pre-certification is required. Required documentation includes, but is not limited to:

If additional documentation is needed to complete the order, we will work directly with the healthcare provider to obtain the necessary information and meet all requirements.
In cases where an order cannot be fulfilled—whether due to exceeding coverage limits, ineligibility for reimbursement, or insurance benefit limitations—the healthcare provider will be promptly notified.
We strive to provide order status updates on the same day the order is received. However, in certain cases, it may take up to 24 hours to process and provide an update.
For hospital discharge orders, we typically arrange delivery the day before or the morning of discharge. To ensure timely delivery, orders must be submitted no later than 1:00 PM the day before discharge. For example, if delivery is required on Tuesday, the order must be received by 1:00 PM Monday. To avoid delays, we recommend submitting orders as early as possible. Orders submitted after the 1:00 PM cutoff will not qualify for next-day delivery.
Once insurance benefits have been verified, all documentation and compliance requirements have been met, and pre-certification has been obtained (if required), a member of our team will contact the patient directly to schedule delivery.
